My day doesn't truly begin until I've sipped on my morning coffee so suggest a great coffee recommendation! Would love to chat for BEA!

Hi! My name is Aishi and I’m a senior majoring in economics and minoring in data science (not very original). I recently spent time working for an energy company, and my interests lie in sustainable development and infrastructure, especially in an urban setting. I’ve done a lot during my time at Berkeley, including environmental canvassing, Model UN, and international relations, having switched from a pre-law/policy focus to development, so I am happy to talk about anything and everything with you. My personal interests include music, dance, and a bunch of other tiny niche hobbies that would take up too much space here. I’d be thrilled to meet and talk with y’all!

Vice President of Research
Evan Davis
Hey everyone! My name's Evan, and I'm a junior from Santa Barbara, CA. I'm double majoring in Economics and Computer Science (concentrating in the Metamathematics of Political Economy), with a minor in Philosophy (and possibly Logic). I plan to get a PhD in Economics and work a research job at a university as an Economics professor - research is my pride and joy. My economic interests lie in the microfoundations of entrepreneurship and its dynamic role in the market process, measures of efficiency and equilibrium analysis, macroeconomics (with a particular focus on the business cycle and capital theory), political economy, and the history of economic thought. In terms of research, I plan to focus on applying insights from theoretical computer science to economic theory, as well as agent-based modeling. Outside of economics, my interests include (of course) theoretical computer science, normative (ethical and political) philosophy, political theory, epistemology and the philosophy of science, abstract math (particularly metamathematics and metalogic - recursion theory, set theory, etc) and the philosophy of math, metaphysics and the philosophy of physics, social and moral psychology, artificial intelligence and machine learning, passive income mechanisms, and the possibility and prospects of achieving immortality (or at least radical life extensions). Outside of my academic and professional interests, I'm a natural landscapes tourist, and I enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, mountain biking, parties, camping, and good food. Feel free to reach out for any reason!
